NYFW Jeremy Scott SS20
No surprise that when Jeremy Scott took over Gallery II of Spring Studios, the runway was full of bold colors, patterns and wigs.
Animated as always, this years collection was more reminiscent of the 60’s and rock n roll. Scott played around with layering, padding and neon globs adorned with outer space fools and metallics with Flintstones vibes. As for styling, the models strutted in shiny thigh highs or booties that perfectly matched each piece.
Always one to have fun, Scott also prioritizes story telling and transporting people to different worlds which is exactly what this show did. Very upbeat, the show itself was like watching a lava lamp malfunction. In the best way.
